MISSION:
To provide skills training and greater independence in life skills.
There were 70 individuals served, the average age being 46 years.

- 41% female (29)
There was an increase in the number of males served.
EFFECTIVENESS:
- Maximize short term objective obtainment: The number of objectives set and met for the clients total 601 goals with 269 being met, realizing a 45% attainment. That score falls in the minimal level.
- Maintain or increase the ICAP score level: The beginning ICAP service score was 1369 and the ending score was 1342, a decrease of 1%. That score falls in the minimal range.
- Increase individual’s level of productivity as it relates to their vocational performance
During this review, 48 of 67 individual’s wages either maintained or increased. 19 decreased, a rate of 65% for the minimal attainment.
ISSUES OR THINGS THAT INDIVIDUALS WOULD LIKE TO SEE CHANGED:
HCDT: NONE
JCDT:
- More positive rewards.
- Bad individuals receive all the attention, good individuals fade into the background.
- Switch trainers more often.
PCWS:
- More fairness.
- More outings.
- Go to Paducah.
- More work.
- Want to be at the DT site more than at the Workshop setting.
STRENGTHS:
- Individuals are very visible in the community and have a variety of work opportunities available in community-based settings.
- Small settings that allow for individuals to be served on a more personal level.
WEAKNESSES:
- The JCDT site is small and, at times, we see maladaptive behaviors as a result of being cramped in small areas.
- New DSPs are younger and have limited job experience in working with individuals with disabilities.
